One of my wishes is to have a large porch, but when hunting for houses, I had to settle for an even smaller porch than we had before. This compromise was worth it for the courtyard feature in the back, but I still hope to someday have that large wraparound! Even though our current porch is more of a stoop, than an actual porch, I still enjoy dressing it up for the seasons! It's small but mighty! We have had a lot of work done on the landscaping in the front and it's still not done, but once it's completed, it will really change the whole look of the house and compliment this tiny area.
It's so fun because today's post is again a blog hop, so make sure to stop by the other designers and gather all their inspiration. The links to their posts are at the bottom!
Let's talk porch. This small area was just large enough to squeeze in my black bench. You may remember it from our entryway in our old home (LINK). I also had it decked out for our fall porch hop (LINK). To create this look, I added two galvanized bins one to the left with greens and faux magnolia leaves and to the right, a small tree that lights up. On the door, is a stunning wreath from Lynch Creek Farms (LINK). It is a fresh wreath and smells amazing! I love all the details and it pulls together the whole look beautifully! This one is called Winter Frost and it really pops off the black door (LINK).
The little details like the mat, the crate, and the lanterns gathered together on either side fill up the space and give it a warm and cozy feeling. The Christmas Tree pillow is from A Gal Named Chuck (LINK). You may remember this same pillow from my fall porch tour. It has exchangeable panels on the front so the pillow is the same and you never have to put it away. Just switch it out seasonally for a new look!
My little sign hanging above the tree has been around for a while. I have to put it out each year because my kids just love it. It's quirky and I just love it!
See what I mean?! Who wouldn't want a jolly man bearing gifts to stop by their front porch! 🙂
Even Irving wanted to get in on the fun, but sadly, he saw a squirrel and wouldn't sit and pose for his picture. Instead, he was off chasing his friends!

To life feeling like home!
XO,
Lovely decorations, thanks for sharing! I wondered what to put outfront except for the wreath, of course, our front porch always looks so empty and abandoned compared to our windows and the living room, which look as if a Santa elf exploded in there.
Amy, you always do a beautiful job with your porch, and your Christmas display is no exception! I love the small trees in those galvanized buckets, and of course, your Jolly Men sign, haha! Thanks for organizing our hop 🙂
Amy, your display it’s simple and seems effortless-I know that this isn’t the case, it’s never and I know by experience lol-. I can feel almost nostalgic just looking at it; I wish having a porch…..I’m inspired. Happy Holidays and thanks for sharing beautiful things.
Oh, thank you so much! You are super sweet! Happy Holidays!
