Colorful Christmas Library Room Tour

You guys know that the library is my favorite room in our house.  Since we have so many colorful books, it is the perfect spot for some colorful Christmas decor.  Using plaids, red, green, and blue, I decorated our room and mantel with Christmas cheer!

Today is another Christmas room tour!  This space is the first room you see when you enter our home and it's a cozy and wonderful spot to hang out with a book and a cup of coffee.

For Christmas decor this year, I brought in some plaids in the form of pillows, a table runner and trees on the mantel.  Paired with red and green velvet stockings, a live garland, and my blue and white chinoiserie collection, it is a bright and colorful Christmas space.

My blue and white collection is growing!  I am finding I love to put it in almost every space.  It seems to work with any colors and red and green are no exception!  My Facebook Marketplace cabinet is starting to fill up and you can see in this room that other pieces are spread throughout.

The colorful books in this room are the perfect backdrop to this warm and cozy Christmas space.

I hope you took the time to watch the video above to hear this very special antique carousel playing its Christmas melody!

    Hi Amy,

Blue and white ceramics are not something I have ever collected, but they look so pretty in your home. There are so many types and price points out there. I am curious how you select your pieces. Do you just go by what catches your eye, do you look for a certain type, or does age or pedigree influence you?

    Thanks!
