This season, I embraced cozy textures, layered fabrics, and soft seasonal accents to bring a feeling of warmth into our family room without using a single fall sign.
I am excited to share how small updates, like textured pillow covers, layered rugs, and a few carefully chosen decorative pieces, can make a space feel perfect for autumn without overwhelming it.
This year, I kept my fall decorating simple and focused on neutral tones, soft blues, and warm textures rather than traditional fall colors. I love how this approach keeps the space feeling fresh while still embracing the coziness of the season.
Swapping out textiles is one of the easiest ways to transition a space for fall.
Since this is where we spend time watching TV, I also kept the coffee table decor simple and functional. A silver tray holds a few milk glass pieces, fresh flowers, and a couple of coffee table books. This setup is easy to move aside when we need the space.
Instead of using traditional fall tones, I added small pops of blue through my growing collection of chinoiserie pieces. These thrift store finds bring a classic touch to the room while still feeling fresh and seasonal.
