Happy New Year! I can't believe that it's 2018 already! Time just flies by, doesn't it? We had a nice holiday and spent some time relaxing with family. My girls aren't back to school until next week, so we plan to catch a few more movies this week. Any recommendations?

How to Create a Spring Tablescape With Succulents
I loved this tablescape also. By using faux succulents, I was able to keep it up as long as I wanted without the maintenance of real succulents. Then when I was ready to change it up, the succulent arrangements were easily used in my existing decor.
Sunflower Summer Tablescape Idea
There is just something about sunflowers that make a girl happy! This black and white setting with sunflowers was another favorite this year. It was the perfect setting for hosting friends in a casual space.

A really simple DIY craft project I did this year was these DIY farmhouse Vases. Layering paint and distressing them gave them the perfect farmhouse patina.

It was definitely a busy year and I don't see that slowing down much in 2018! Our new home is definitely providing us with ample DIY projects 🙂
My personal goals for 2018 are 1) Cook more, Try new recipes, Eat healthier 2) Do a daily bible study 3) Find a serving opportunity 4) Read 2 books a month
And House Goals: 1) Finish Kitchen Remodel 2) Paint 2 dressers for the front office space 3) Complete laundry room addition 4) Work on coordinating a decor style for our home
