Traditional Christmas Decor in the Dining Room

Today I'm sharing my Christmas tablescape using traditional holiday colors.

I've really been nostalgic this season and embraced a lot more traditional colors in my holiday decorating.  Using red and greens paired with gold chargers, brass candlesticks, and glittery fruit, my table is full of vintage inspiration!

I was lucky to find this vintage tablecloth at a thrift store just last week.  To me, it's the perfect piece to bring together all the reds and greens in my table settings.  I layered my gold chargers with Christmas plates, and my green transfer ware dishes.  The green goblets were also a thrift store find.  My etched holiday glasses (LINK) are also included in this setting.

For the mantel, I used a combination of elements from both my fall and thanksgiving mantels.  I added a couple of gold reindeer and tucked in a few of the glittery apples I made.  See this video for how to make the DIY Glittered Apples (LINK). You can view a whole video which includes more of my brass candlestick collection over on YouTube (LINK).
