A New Look With Removable Wallpaper in the Kitchen & Hallway

A high quality removable wallpaper from Indigo Design Co. gives a whole new look to my kitchen and hallway!

I've been loving wallpaper lately for the pop of color and texture it can add to a space. Even a small nook like in this post (LINK) can be transformed with a little effort. I've worked with several different brands of paper, but the company I'm sharing with you today, Indigo Design Co.(LINK) is by far my favorite!  From the quality of the product to the customer service, they are amazing!  Indigo Design Co. has  numerous patterns to choose from including a new signature line collaboration with MaryFrances Carter.  The hardest part of this project for me was choosing the paper I wanted to use. As a Made in the USA company, they value the craftsmanship of each product they produce.

The area I was looking to update was a hallway off the foyer which is open to the kitchen and great room.  I ultimately chose the  Marigold (French Blue) (LINK). I liked it because of the fun pattern and how the beautiful blues and greens would pull my space together.

If you've never put up removable wallpaper before, it is not that difficult.  Indigo Design Co. has a video on their site (LINK) which shows you exactly how to approach the project. Due to the high quality and thickness of this paper, it is easy too manipulate and you do not have to worry about it tearing.  If you make a mistake, you can peel it off and reposition it. They sent a handy scraping tool to help smooth any wrinkles or bubbles out.  A simple straight edge utility knife (LINK) is all you need to cut around baseboards and corners.

I love how visible it is from so many different areas in our home.  I gave our coffee bar just a small matching touch by updating the back of the cabinet with it as well.
